My autobiography is factual and self-revealing, describing the writer's feelings, thoughts and reactions to events and other people.
It is a heartwarming tale that takes us through the journey from childhood to adulthood of an individual that hankers for the good old days in the 70s. I have such an enjoyable style of storytelling and a very lighthearted approach, making my narrative feel like I am sitting beside you recounting each tale. My turn of phrase lifts the story that extra level and even though there are familiar themes and pastimes that unite all cultures, the Algerian setting adds a further dimension of interest. From childhood games, adolescent rebellion and the lost love of adulthood, I paint a picture that all readers can relate and empathize with and it's particularly interesting to see that in reality there are no cultural barriers between people, we are all the same at heart. There is plenty that you will find very interesting, especially about the lives and thoughts and practices of the women in my country, Algeria. You will be inspired to read how I taught myself English and went on to obtain my teaching qualifications. It shows such strength of character and endurance and will encourage others and motivate them. My autobiography is a joyful celebration of a life and a pleasure to read.

A fabulous read - 19/03/2020

I enjoyed reading the book immensely as it allowed me to wallow in nostalgia for a different time and place. Hats off to M\'hamed Daham from Algeria for his debut novel \"A Trip Down Memory Lane\". He is creating something that will outlive him. M\'hamed has a way with words and makes you feel as if you were there for some of the most amazing times in Algeria in the 1970s. I am reading it again to absorb its humour and sadness. Highly recommended!

A Heart Touching Book - 06/02/2020

After reading the book it made me reflect on my own life. It reminded me of my good old days. It\'s really filled with emotions and kept me on the edge of my seat. It transported me back to a now lost time, an age when things were very different from today. I will definitely be recommending this book to others.
